We are a group of singers who, for a variety of reasons, prefer to remain seated whilst singing. Of course, we also welcome able-bodied singers.
We meet at the Avenue Church, Newton Abbot on Thursday afternoons.
We sing a variety of popular songs, music from the shows, and some sacred items.
You don't have to able to read music, and we welcome singers of all levels of musical ability. The ground-floor room in which we meet is wheelchair-friendly. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available. Each singing session starts at 2pm and lasts about two hours, including breaks.
Singing is particulary beneficial to those suffering from Asthma, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, and various other conditions. Do please come along, it might do you a load of good!
We gratefully acknowledge the financial assistance from the Devon Community Foudation.
